The Stonehaven Community Patrol was featured in a WBTV News report that aired during the 11:00 pm news on Tuesady, February 22, 2011.

The news story discussed residents of Boyce Road having reported witnessing individuals engaged in homosexual activity on the hiking trails in the James A. Boyce Park located on Boyce Road just off of Sardis Road near the border of the Stonehaven and Medearis neighborhoods.
