Ride-Along With the Stonehaven Community Patrol

 If you are interested in experiencing life on the streets of late-night Stonehaven just let us know and we will make arrangements for you to join us.

 While the patrol functions of the Stonehaven Community Patrol are not anywhere near as “exciting” as the patrol functions of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Dept. in that Stonehaven Patrol Members do not conduct traffic stops or answer calls to neighborhoods with high crime rates, Patrol Memebrs do experience some of the most basic elements of police work.

 Stonehaven Patrol Members carry out the “service” side of police work wherein they check  properties and streets for criminal activity, maintain patrol logs and document the times properties are checked while interacting with Stonehaven residents often.

 Patrol members also work with leaders of crime watch programs of other neighborhoods in an effort to coordinate crime deterring activities.
