Donate to the Stonehaven Community Patrol

We are now taking donations through PayPal. It’s quick, it’s easy and most importantly, it’s secure. Just click on the button below to make a donation of any amount today.

The Stonehaven Community Patrol is staffed entirely by volunteers that give their time to patrol the Stonehaven community on foot, on bicycles, and in our Ford Police Interceptor Patrol Car in an effort to deter criminal activity in the greater Stonehaven area.

The equipment used by Stonehaven Community Patrol Officers including the Ford Police Interceptor Patrol Vehicle, two-way portable radios, flashlights, reporting forms, bicycles equipped with L.E.D. lighting, and law enforcement duty gear, is supplied entirely by the volunteers that man the Patrol.

Several Stonehaven residents have asked about making donations to the Patrol and we now have a system in place.  In addition to the option to make donations via debit and credit cards through the electronic tab above, we also accept monetary donations as well as donations of pre-paid gas station gift cards, batteries for use in flashlights and portable radios, and department store gift cards.

Any donations not made electronically through Paypal above can be given to Phyllis Rea. She can be reached at 704-458-3068 0r 704-366-5842. Or by email: sgreafamily@earthlink.com.  All funds received will be used by the Stonehaven Community Patrol  to continue and expand patrols of the greater Stonehaven Area in an effort deter criminal activity.

In addition, Linda Lee Davis, the administrator of the Stonehaven Community web-site www.stonehaveninfo.com, has agreed to accept donations on behalf of the Stonehaven Community Patrol through the Stonehaven Association. Anyone wishing to make a financial contribution to the Community Patrol through the Stonehaven Association should write “Community Patrol” in the memo section of their check or money order. Linda Lee can be contacted via e-mail at lindalee@carolina.rr.com.

Anyone willing to make donations of batteries for flashlights or gas station gift cards can drop them off at the home of Brian Lutes at 6001 Gate Post Road, Charlotte, NC 28211 or mail them to the same address.

Donations of any kind are greatly appreciated and will allow us to continue our efforts to make sure Stonehaven remains a great place to live and raise a family.

The Stonehaven Community Patrol (SCP) is registered with the North Carolina Secretary of State as a Non-Profit Corporation, but is not registered with the U.S. Internal Revenue Service as a Non-Profit due to the costs associated with such a designation and therefore donations made to the SCP are not tax-deductible.

  1. This is a great idea. I would like to support your efforts in any way I can.

    • Thank you for visiting the web-site of the Stonehaven Community Patrol and for your willingness to support our efforts to deter criminal activity here in the Greater Stonehaven Area.
Our efforts can be supported with financial contributions, gift cards for gasoline & batteries, word of mouth promotion of our program, and referencing others to our web-site, but help of any kind is greatly appreciated.
If you are interested we have a “ride along” program in which you can see our efforts first hand.
Thank you again for visiting our site and please let us know if we may ever be of assistance to you in some way.
      Brian Lutes
