CMPD Investigating June 5, 2014 Armed Robbery at Garinger High

Police are investigating an armed robbery that took place on the campus of a local high school last week.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police are hoping to identify two men responsible for an armed robbery around 1 p.m. Thursday, June 5, 2014, on the Garinger High School campus. The victim told police he was approached by two black males, both of whom looked to be in their late-teens, and robbed him of his cellphone.

The police say one of the suspects had a silver revolver in his waistband. The suspects then fled the scene on foot. The victim was not injured.  

The first suspect is described as standing about 6-feet tall with a thin build and short hair; he was wearing a red t-shirt and tan pants. The second suspect is described as about 5-foot-8 with a thin build, long dreads and was wearing a black shirt and light-colored shorts.
