Police are seeking Daniel Moore, 29. Authorities say Moore cut off the device in the area near the 3100 block of the Brookshire Freeway, which is about halfway between Interstate 77 and Beatties Ford Road.

Moore had been arrested earlier this year on armed robbery charges and was released from jail on Oct. 8 after agreeing to wear the monitoring device.

Police say Moore is 6 feet tall and weighs 190 pounds. Anyone with information in the case is asked to call police at 704-336-VCAT or call 911.
