2 Arrested in Connection with Charlotte Shooting that Left Man Paralyzed

Eyewitness News has learned that police have arrested two men in connection with a shooting earlier in the month.

Abner Hintzen, 34, and Michael Patrick, 22, are in jail and face assault, robbery and other charges, police said.

Police said they robbed two men early in the morning on Nov. 1 on Lodge South Circle.

As one of the victims, Miguel Cruz, 33, was trying to run away, one of the suspects shot Cruz in the back paralyzing him.

Both men will be in court Tuesday afternoon.

They are both in jail on a $175,000 bond.
