From, October 10, 2013

Channel 9 learned new details in the case of a fatal car crash in south Charlotte that killed a woman and a 3-year-old boy.

On Thursday, a judge reduced the bond for Uriel Flores to $50,000.

Last month, police said Flores and Shanquise Bush were stopped at a light on Sharon Road West and sped away from the intersection.

Bush lost control and crashed, killing herself and her nephew.

In court Thursday, prosecutors said Flores was going more than 70 mph in a 35-mph zone.

Flores faces manslaughter and felony hit-and-run charges.
