CMPD Investigating After Congressman Pittenger’s Home Broken Into

Police in Charlotte are investigating after someone broke into a North Carolina congressman’s home.

According to his office, Congressman Robert Pittenger’s house was broken into on Thursday afternoon.

WBTV has learned that no one was home at the time and all of Pittenger’s family members are safe.

“Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police responded quickly and are conducting a thorough investigation,” said Congressman Pittenger (NC-09).  “We are grateful for their support and continued assistance.”
