Charlotte House Riddled with Bullets, Could be Connected to Murder Case

By GLENN COUNTS / NBC Charlotte, October 1, 2013

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police kept a close eye on Allegiance Drive Tuesday, following a shooting that stunned this community.

Around 9:30 Monday night, September 30, 2013, someone went into the woods behind a home and riddled it with bullets.

Three people were home at the time, but fortunately no one was injured. The incident may be linked to the murder of 23-year-old Terrell Jones. He was killed Friday following a dispute that started at Club 935 and ended at 8900 Bow Road.

Sources say that police talked to one of the people in the home about the case, but don’t think he’s involved.

That might explain Monday incident. Police have released photographs of a person of interest in the murder; the pictures were taken inside of Club 935.

Investigators are seeking help in both cases and ask anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers at (704)334-1600.
