Hummer Stolen in East Charlotte Carjacking, Victims Cut with Knives

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) – Police say three people were carjacked at gunpoint in east Charlotte early Monday morning.

Police said they were called around 6 a.m. to the 10000 block of East W.T. Harris Boulevard in reference to an armed robbery.

The victims included two men, ages 28 and 26, and a 23-year-old woman. All three were in a sports utility vehicle.

The police report said around 2 a.m. six suspects forced the victims at gunpoint to drive around for about an hour.

The suspects cut the two male victims on their backs before forcing all three victims out of the vehicle.

The male victims were treated at Carolinas Medical Center-University City.

The suspects fled the scene in the victims’ blue 2006 Humvee Hummer H13 with tag No. YTA-5205.
