Police credit an alert neighbor with helping them arrest two suspects and detain two others for questioning after a house break-in in the 2700 block of Daffodil Drive, off Statesville Road in north Charlotte.

The home was broken into at 10:15 today, and police quickly arrived after the neighbor called 911, Charlotte-Mecklenburg police Officer Robert Fey said.

Officers from the department’s North Division also recovered the property stolen from the home and have returned it to the owner, Fey said.

The suspects’ names weren’t immediately available this morning.
